Professor Peter BOELHOUWER

Peter BOELHOUWER

Peter Boelhouwer has been a Professor of Housing Systems at TUDelft since 2001. Boelhouwer has been studying the interaction between the housing market and public housing policy for almost 40 years. Boelhouwer was, among other things, an External Advisor to the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee on housing associations, was a Commissioner for several housing associations and a Commissioner at the urban development agency, Kuipercompagnons. Boelhouwer is Chairman of the European Network for Housing Research and of the Architectuurpunt Zoetermeer. He is also Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Housing and the Built Environment and member of the curriculum committee of the Dutch Association of Mortgage Planners. Boelhouwer also coordinates the TUD/CBS home value expertise center, which, among other things, publishes the owner-occupied home monitor every quarter.

Professor Milena DONATO OLIVA

Milena Donato Oliva

Professor Milena Donato Oliva is an Associate Professor at the Civil Law Department of the State University of Rio de Janeiro - UERJ. She holds a PhD (2013), a Masters (2008) and a Bachelor diploma (2005) in Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro - UERJ. She is currently a partner at Gustavo Tepedino Advogados law firm (since 2006), a member of the Brazilian Civil Law Institute - IBDCivil (since 2013), the Brazilian Lawyers Institute (since 2012), and the Real Estate Law Commission of the Bar Association of Rio de Janeiro (since 2010).

Her publications include books on Real Estate Trusts (Do negócio fiduciário à fidúcia, 2014) and the Securitization of real estate credits, real estate development and real estate investment funds (Patrimônio Separado: herança, massa falida, securitização de créditos imobiliários, incorporação imobiliária, fundos de investimento imobiliário, trust, 2009); and chapters of books and academic journals on Building condos (Condomínio Edilício e Subjetividade, 2008 and A responsabilidade do adquirente pelos encargos condominiais na propriedade horizontal, 2006) and the transmission of real estate through atypical contracts (Transmissão da propriedade imobiliária por meio de contratos atípicos, 2013), among many other articles.

Professor Martin HOESLI

Hoesli

Martin Hoesli holds a Ph.D. in Finance and is Professor of real estate and finance at the Universities of Geneva (Switzerland) and Aberdeen (U.K.). He has written six books and over 160 scholarly publications in real estate. He is past president of the International Real Estate Society (IRES) and the European Real Estate Society (ERES) and a board member of the Swiss Financial Analyst Association (SFAA), the European Commercial Real Estate Data Alliance (E-CREDA), IRES and ERES. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a Hoyt Academic Fellow of the Maury Seldin Advanced Studies Institute.  He serves on the research committee of the European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA). He has won the Nick Tyrrell Research Prize (2012 and 2020), the IRES Achievement Award (2007), the IRES Service Award (2020) and the David Ricardo Medal of the American Real Estate Society (2022). He has been a visiting scholar at many Universities worldwide and is on the editorial board of many international real estate journals.

Professor Tuna TAŞAN-KOK

Tasan-kok

Prof. Dr. Tuna Taşan-Kok holds the position of Chair of Urban Planning and Governance at the University of Amsterdam. Tuna has wide-ranging knowledge and experience in the fields of urban social geography and urban planning and has worked for several high-ranking international organisations with connections to extensive international research networks, with whom she actively collaborates. She is interested in analysing urban transformation from different angles of social geography and spatial planning.
